My beloved Olympus 35 millimeter SLR's are now in moth balls. They have been replaced by the Olympus EVOLT E-300 Digital SLR. This camera shoots at 8.1 Megapixels. It's complemented by a full range of Olympus lenses by Zuiko, including a macro lens that shoots at ½:1, with an extension tube that enables it to shoot at 1:1. I can shoot in RAW, TIFF, JPEG, whatever. I also have a full set of lighting devices for macro and general photography. What does all this mean to you? Simply that Digital Dick now offers a range of imaging services. BEFORE ENHANCEMENT AFTER ENHANCEMENT Please note that computer display settings vary, and these lower resolution facsimiles cannot adequately reflect the quality of my final product. Digital Macro Photography I can photograph flies, fly tying sequences, details of materials-in fact, practically anything having to do with fly tying. Thus, I am able to produce high quality digital images that are ideal for use in books, articles, and other publications. I can also do fly tying to order for photography on request. Digital Scanning My high quality scanner will scan film, color slides and transparencies up to 4" x 5" and prints up to 8" x 10". I can create these scans in varying degrees of resolution, and in most of the popular digital formats. PowerPoint Presentations Want to convert that old slide show into a Power Point presentation? With my Canon scanner, no sweat! My high quality scanner will scan film, color slides and transparencies up to 4" x 5" and prints up to 8" x 10". I can transform these into a PowerPoint presentation, and copy the result to CD for you. Photographic Restoration and Enhancement I can bring out those faded colors and make improvements in color saturation, contrast, and in some cases improve sharpness. I can restore faded pictures, and to a certain extent, fix blemishes. Please be advised that OCR scans may not be perfect. It's important to go over them and correct any minor glitches before sending in the text for publication. Prices for custom fly tying will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. For example; a typical dry fly, such as the Adams, would cost $5.00.
